Padel

Over 5 million fans around the world enjoy this fantastic sport that perfectly balances the desire for fun and the impressive number of calories burned. Padel enjoys popularity both in the world of professional players and in small groups of family, friends or business partners, precisely because it has some flexible rules and does not require a special physical condition. Also, padel is a sport dedicated to players of any age, regardless of the individual level of training, being less physically demanding than the rest of the racquet sports, although it combines specific elements of both tennis (the existence of an opponent) and squash (frequent direction changes that mobilize the entire body).

Why choosing padel

1.Eliminates stress

Everyday concerns, pending tasks, various issues to solve – all of these gradually increase the daily stress level, so paddle games are the perfect formula to disconnect you from the outside world. Throughout the game, there is only you and your teammate against the opposite team, while everyday worries are temporarily blocked by the concern to win the game!

2.Strengthens the heart

Padel is an aerobic exercise that, if regularly practiced, strengthens your cardio-respiratory system and keeps your heart young. It also helps you feel more energetic and more motivated in doing your daily activities.

3.Tones the muscles

Padel has the great advantage of moving both the upper part of the body (arms, shoulders and back, involved in ball kicking) and legs (buttocks, thighs, ankles). Thus, it will tonify all muscle groups and keep you in the most harmonious form, burning up to 600 calories per hour.

Game Rules

Padel is an excellent team sport, where the relationship with the game partner is fundamental in order to win the match.

The walls that delineate the playing field are considered the third “player” in the padel games, as they offer double chance of ball recovery and make balls shifts to last longer.

The equipment is made up of a ball simmilar to tennis ball and a padless palette called “paler”, similar to the ping pong blades and extremely easy to handle.

It is always played in two teams, and the service runs diagonally.
