Karate Kyokushin & Kickboxing

Martial arts have been invented to perfect people and form strong characters, so Karate Kyokushin classes involve intense training and demand a remarkable physical condition, this branch of martial arts being declared the toughest fighting style.

Whether they practice Karate Kyokushin as a hobby or as a performance sport, the workouts develop in a balanced manner the kids’ motric qualities (speed, strength, mobility, coordination and agility), aiming to develop the character and imposing a discipline to be applied in everyday life, not just in the training room.

The goal of the Kyokushin Karate & Kickboxing Academy at Stejarii Country Club is to form good athletes, both in the performance of combat movements and individual performance, so the childrean to be learning to consciously channel their daily energy and exceed their own limits.

Why choosing Karate Kyokushin

1.Children earn to defend themselves

During the Kyokushin Karate classes, children learn defense techniques against potential aggressors. Through fighting techniques and the methods studied, children will overcome the fear of not knowing how to cope with a possible attack and will be prepared to react defensively as they will improve their reaction speed and their reflexes will become sharper. It is important to note that practicing martial arts does not transform kids into warriors or bullies, but satisfies the children’ need for safety by improving agility and physical resistance so they can react in extreme situations. Children learn, among other things, what is the right way to breathe in case of an attack, how to fall in order to avoid severe injuries, etc.

2.Martial arts build children’ character

In the martial arts, a particular emphasis is placed on the educational side, since the physical discipline imposed by sensei has the role of forming the character of the disciples. Thus, the little ones learn how to keep their calm in any situation, be vigilant, modest, persevering and respect the others.

3.Developing the ability to concentrate, trust and self-respect

Through the Kyokushin Karate classes, teenagers learn to ignore background noise and external factors and focus on the exercises and movements they have to perform so that they strike and mark points at the same time. Also, children will learn how to cope with the loss, which sometimes is inevitable, but also to enjoy a successful result, which will lead to the building of self-esteem and a positive self image. Children begin to feel good in their skin, they start to consider themselves special and important and develop the “I can do this” attitude which has beneficial effects outside of the training room.

4.Socialization and friendship

Karate Kyokushin classes promote long-lasting friendships between the disciples of this sport, as in the training room the children have the opportunity to socialize with the other students and train together. At the same time, while working with colleagues more advanced than them or with a better technique, the children discover that there will always be someone better than them, which will motivate them to overcome their own limits and train more intensely. Throughout the year, Stejarii Country Club hosts various Kyokushin Karate internals competitions, where students have the opportunity to prove their fighting style.
