Swimming

If you want your child to enjoy “mens sana in corpore sana”, swimming classes at Stejarii Country Club represent the most favorable sport activity for the physical and mental health of the child, regardless of the age. For children, swimming is one of the most enjoyable forms of physical activity, due to the long time spent in the pool. Besides fun, studies show that swimming benefits go beyond the size of physical benefits because swimming can stimulate the brain and enhance the cognitive performance of kids.

The semi-olympic indoor pool at Stejarii Country Club provides the best conditions for practicing this sport (the temperature is permanently controlled, chlorine is naturally obtained by salt electrolysis, water is well tolerated) so we offer high quality and funny classes for the youngest of our members.

Why choosing swimming

1.Works all muscle groups

The main benefit of swimming is that it trains the muscles of the whole body without exerting pressure on the joints, which are still fragile and vulnerable. At the same time, swimming is an intense aerobic exercise, favoring oxygenation of the brain and stimulating the heart rate of players.

2.Outlines personality traits

Childhood is the age when  the children’s personality is shaped, and swimming involves identifying themselves with others and acquiring common values, self-image development, emotional socialization, competition spirit and self-consciousness, so that children can adapt more easily to the social environment, being more “uninhibited” and dynamic.

3.Provides many fun opportunities

Physical exercises in contact with water release the hormone of happiness, endorphins, being the perfect way to combat the frustration, annoyance or impatience of the little ones. Swimming courses also relax swimmers, rhythmic water strokes associated with various breathing techniques offering a general relaxation similar to that one after practicing Yoga or Pilates.
